Quinta do Lago has strengthened its reputation as one of the world’s top golf and lifestyle destinations after earning multiple nominations at the upcoming edition of the World Golf Awards.
Reinforcing its position at the top of the global golf and lifestyle scene, the Portuguese resort has received eight highly coveted nominations for this autumn’s event – the 13th edition of the prestigious annual industry awards which celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism.
The Algarve venue is shortlisted in global, continental and country categories, including for both awards it proudly won and retained in 2025– ‘World’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ and ‘Europe’s Best Golf Venue’.
Additionally, Quinta do Lago is nominated for ‘World’s Best Golf Venue 2026’ and ‘Europe’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue 2026’, while the renowned South Course – a course which has hosted the Portuguese Open eight times – is nominated for ‘World’s Best Golf Course 2026’ and ‘Portugal’s Best Golf Course 2026’.
