Carrossa Hotel & Spa has enhanced its world-class leisure offering with a €70,000 refurbishment of its outdoor pool area.
Arguably the centrepiece of one of Mallorca’s most acclaimed spas, the pool has been given a makeover – including new foliage to further connect guests with the island’s inimitable nature.
New day beds are among the poolside furniture that has been added ahead of the summer season, while the area has also been adorned with colourful pottery in keeping with the old-world charm of the resort’s 300-year-old manor house.
The upgraded furniture around the pool area and sun deck has been supplied by Danish company Cane Line, who are known for their chic, modern designs that are built to last in outdoor environments.
Carrossa’s immersive, 1,500m2 spa has been one of the gems of Mallorca’s countryside each year since opening in 2018. As well as the outdoor pool, the resort has a heated indoor pool with panoramic views across the rolling hills, and the ‘world of saunas’ with three different saunas for maximum relaxation. Expert therapists are on hand to perform a broad range of classic and innovative treatments.
Meanwhile, care has gone into a spruce-up of the resort’s popular Bistro Badia, a relaxed restaurant open for lunch and dinner throughout the season. The bistro – which this year debuted a new menu focused on the Spanish tradition of sharing – has also received new furniture, as well as a revamp of the terrace overlooking the bay of Alcudía and Mediterranean Sea beyond.
