Registration for Elevate Golf 2025 has closed following a hugely successful booking period which has seen golf’s elite place unanimous value in the industry’s newest showpiece event.
Just one month on from the inaugural Elevate Golf event – which saw the finest golf courses, accommodation providers and international tour operators connect in St Andrews for over 3,000 tailor-made appointments – interest for next year has been overwhelming with the majority of attendees already confirmed as returning, and many more new suppliers booking for the first time.
All tour operators present at this year’s event – carefully selected to ensure the finest are present – have also confirmed their presence in 2025, with the event beginning in the city of Liverpool before ending in St Andrews, where it took place this year.
Held between Sunday, October 26 and Friday, October 31, Elevate Golf 2025 will begin with a two-night stay in Liverpool with suppliers and tour operators invited to sample the city’s culture and play golf on the wonderful Northwest coast.
Attendees will be able to play golf at the region’s best golf courses – including Royal Liverpool, Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham & St Annes, Formby Golf Club, Wallasey Golf Club, Hillside GC, Southport & Ainsdale and West Lancashire Golf Club – before being transferred to the Fairmont St Andrews resort.
Upon arrival in Scotland, connecting on a round of golf at one of seven fantastic courses will be an option for attendees – golf will be available at Carnoustie Golf Links, Dumbarnie Golf Links, North Berwick Golf Links, Gullane Golf Links, Royal Troon, Western Gailes or Prestwick – before the face-to-face business meetings begin on Thursday, October 30.
Meetings will continue through until the afternoon of Friday, October 31, before a gala dinner celebrating global golf tourism is held. This year’s event saw Sam Baker, founder and chairman of tour operator Haversham & Baker, receive a warm reception as he collected Elevate Golf’s lifetime achievement award – an award which will return in 2025.
Leanne Thorpe, general manager of Elevate Golf, said: “Interest in Elevate Golf 2025 has been simply incredible. Despite being 11 months away, registration for next year’s event has now closed as we look ahead to what promises to be another great event connecting golf’s elite.
“We can’t wait to be in Liverpool for the first two days of our 2025 event, showcasing the wonderful north-west England golf coast to the world’s best tour operators, as well as the energy and culture of one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.”
Bill Addy, CEO of Liverpool BID Company, said: “Golf is a major economic driver for Liverpool and the wider city region and this incredible event will help to connect the city with the most important decision makers within the sport. Liverpool city region, as England’s golf coast, has assets like no other for this industry.
“The Accommodation BID has been designed to generate more overnight visits and to increase spend in the city’s tourism economy so the investment in supporting Elevate Golf and bringing it to Liverpool is a win win.”
