PITCH WHARF GETS IN THE SWING FOR ITS 2025 OPENING AS NEW HUB FOR CITY GOLF LOVERS

Stylish golf and lifestyle hospitality brand, Pitch, has announced plans to launch a new flagship venue in the city of London.

Opening in January 2025, Pitch Wharf will swing into action at Churchill Place in Canary Wharf. The venue has been labelled ‘the new home of modern golf’ with something for everyone in a stunning setting, spread across 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor and across two floors.

Pitch prides itself on being so much more than simply an indoor golf venue – but rather a lifestyle hub that offers an innovative social experience. Open seven days a week, several late-night DJ slots complement a relaxing vibe, with a food and beverage offering which blends tempting treats with a healthy day menu and delicious cocktails.

The new opening in London’s Central Business District will feature a private members’ area on the ground floor, two stylish bars, a waterside terrace and 18 Greens restaurant.

A Trendy Golf concept store - the first of its kind - will stock a number of premium brands, including Malbon Golf, adidas, Manors and J Lindeberg, making it the perfect place to stop and shop for the latest designs with wide range of diverse apparel and footwear for both on and off-course fashion.

On the top floor, a total of 11 golf bays will be loaded with the latest Trackman technology. Social areas offer views out and over Canary Wharf, and with multiple areas which can be privately hired, Pitch Wharf’s premium setting serves as the perfect place for those looking to host clients or simply enjoy afterwork drinks and games.

Pitch Wharf is also pleased to be taking employee wellbeing to the next level as they join forces with WeWork, the leading global flexible space provider. In addition to exclusive access to Pitch Wharf, WeWork members will enjoy special privileges at the exclusive golf club.

Elliot Godfrey, co-founder and CEO of Pitch, said: “We are incredibly excited to be opening Pitch Wharf, our new flagship site that brings together the very best of what Pitch has to offer, and adds incredible value to the workplace environment.

“Partnering with WeWork at this iconic location in the heart of Canary Wharf not only allows us to deliver a space that creates opportunity for social interactions and team get gatherings for a wide range of businesses, but also delivers an experience that elevates how people connect, learn or refine skills and unwind in one of London’s most dynamic business districts.”

Pitch Wharf’s opening follows a busy year of growth for the brand, with new venues opening in Dublin and more locations planned in the UK in Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton.

Internationally, developments are underway to open a Pitch venue in Melbourne, Australia, while global expansion is growing in a number of cities in the USA.

Pitch’s success comes as the sites have proven the perfect space for those wanting to enjoy the game away from the confines and regulations of a traditional golf club, delivering a premium offering in a non-traditional setting that can cater for large corporate events.

Numerous multi-player options mean everyone can get involved and enjoy various game formats – all while feeling part of the club atmosphere as they take on the virtual challenge of some of the world’s greatest golf courses, such as Pebble Beach in California and the sacred land of St Andrews’ Old Course.

Pitch co-founder Chris Ingham added: “This has been a major year for the development and story of Pitch.

“Indoor golf has evolved hugely from its earliest days, and we feel, at Pitch, that we offer so much more than just bays where people can hit golf balls. It is a place for social gatherings, and it is a way of playing and engaging with the game that is open to everyone.”

“Our vision is to create a fresh experience to attract an audience beyond existing golfers where it is about more than swinging a golf club, our new venue at Pitch Wharf, along with other new venues set for 2025, will enhance what we have to offer and broaden the appeal of Pitch.”
