TRIPLE SUCCESS FOR INFINITUM AT EUROPEAN PROPERTY AWARDS

INFINITUM, a growing force in European real estate, has continued its meteoric rise with a trio of wins at the European Property Awards 2024-25.

The Catalan resort and residential project shone in three categories, earning the Five Star level in Landscape Architecture and Residential Development (10-19 units) as well as a victory in the Sustainable Residential Development bracket.

The three awards were presented at a ceremony in London on Thursday (October 17), attended by a long list of key figures from across the European real estate industry.

INFINITUM’s much-acclaimed real estate project, which announced its third phase of construction this year, features a wide range of villas and apartments a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean Sea. The accolades follow last year’s title of ‘Europe’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ at the prestigious World Golf Awards.

Phases I and II of the resort’s Vía Maris project were singled out in the ‘Residential Development (10-19 units), earning Five Star status for their design, location and surrounding amenities.

Meanwhile, sustainability has been at the core of INFINITUM’s residential development from the outset; and 2024 marks the second consecutive year that the project has been highlighted in the ‘Sustainable Residential Development – Spain’ category.

Each of INFINITUM’s homes were designed with the environment firmly in mind, integrating seamlessly into the Mediterranean landscape. All of the resort’s properties boast the exclusive BREEAM sustainability certification and include specially crafted ventilation to minimise the need for heating or air conditioning.

Paula Olartecoechea Pérez, marketing and communication manager at InmoCaixa, said: “We are honoured and proud to receive these three awards, which each represent one of the key pillars of our development: high-quality architecture, development and sustainability

“We look forward to the continued progress of our real estate development and to continue competing for these prestigious awards in the future.”

Enric Batlle, director of architecture and landscape architect and founding partner of Batlleiroig, said: “INFINITUM is an exclusive complex of high-quality homes integrated into the Mediterranean landscape and designed for maximum efficiency. The buildings, low in height and light in color, are integrated into the existing pine forests that reach the beach and the sea.

“The second Phase of the INFINITUM complex consists of 81 multi-family homes with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms with large terraces and gardens, 34 semi-detached single-family homes and 4 detached single-family homes with private gardens, all of them designed based on the Mediterranean landscape, with efficiency and sustainability to the fore.”

INFINITUM has emerged as a leading real estate development in recent years, having already been well-renowned for its trio of golf courses: the Hills, Lakes and nine-hole Ruins, with the latter two both designed by two-time Major winner Greg Norman.

The resort is also home to several acclaimed restaurants – including Flamma Beach Foodhouse, with a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea – and an award-winning Beach Club open throughout the summer.
