CLUB SYSTEMS RELEASES UPGRADED VERSION OF CLUBV1 AND NEW ADMIN APP

Club Systems International has launched a new redesigned version of its market-leading ClubV1 club management software – the first major overhaul of the product since it was introduced ten years ago.

Released in 2013, ClubV1 is a cloud-based management system provided by Europe’s leading IT club specialist Club Systems International to help golf clubs manage everything from administering club competitions to enabling communication with members.

The system has undergone several developments and additions over the last decade but has now been redesigned and upgraded with the modern golf club manager and team in mind after a successful testing period.

The new version of ClubV1 – the now primary version that golf club officials will see each time they log in to the site – comes complete with a new look, new features, faster response times, massively enhanced usability, and more customisation around reporting.

To further enhance user experience, a new ClubV1 Admin app has been launched meaning users can now manage their golf club from the palm of their hand.

Created specifically for use on a mobile or tablet, the app includes all of the same features that 1600-plus golf clubs across the UK and Ireland currently use within the ClubV1 website, but with the added freedom that a portable device provides.

First launched for beta testing at the end of 2022, the ClubV1 Admin app makes it easier than ever to control every aspect of golf club management from wherever and is free of charge for golf clubs of all product levels.

Richard Peabody, managing director of Club Systems, said: “We first launched ClubV1 almost ten years ago and, while we have been delighted with its success, we want to ensure that our software keeps on evolving and developing for our customers.

“Having listened to feedback from golf club managers and officials, we have focused on improving the design, response times and usability of the product, and the new ClubV1 Admin app should make it even easier to access all of these features on the go.”

Founded by the Roberts family in the early 1980s, Club Systems International ownership passed to Glyn Roberts and Richard Peabody after a management buyout before it was then acquired by ClearCourse Group in 2022.

Club Systems International celebrated its 40th anniversary in style recently as its HowDidiDo platform passed one million downloads. Throughout 2022, both Club Systems and HowDidiDo user numbers continued to grow with more than 8.1 million rounds inputted into Club Systems software, with in excess of 240,000 competitions taking place as 749,000 users took to the system.

The How Do We Beat It charity donation fund for Prostate Cancer UK also passed the £200,000 mark last year and after a Covid-inflicted absence, the popular Club Systems Roadshows - which provide a perfect opportunity for golf club officials to find out more about the products on offer and get a sneak-peek of upcoming developments - also returned in late November.
