Golfers across the UK are being urged to play the Golf Lottery this week for their last chance to win the ‘Ultimate Indian Ocean Golfing Experience’ alongside a former major champion or Ryder Cup captain.
With business-class flights and five-star accommodation included, the package – where the winner will be joined by one of their golfing buddies – promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, with the clock ticking, players must sign up to play by midnight on September 15 – this Thursday – for a chance to be in the winning draw that will be made on October 14.
There are two ways to play: either a monthly subscription with a direct debit of £5 per calendar month or an annual subscription with a direct debit of £52 per year. Head to the Golf Lottery website to sign up now to be in with a chance of winning this exclusive prize.
Players also have the opportunity to win a number of other fantastic prizes, from tournament tickets, golf equipment and lessons from the professionals.
Pharmacist Jonathan Roberts made history in July when he became the Golf Lottery’s first winner, with his name drawn to win a place in the Staysure PGA Seniors Celebrity Series alongside Liverpool FC legend Robbie Fowler.
The Golf Lottery is a new initiative that was launched earlier this year where players can support a diverse range of charities while competing for some amazing prizes. Charity partners include the Alzheimer’s Society, Prostate Cancer UK and the Golf Foundation.
Devised by Ryan Howsam – majority owner of the Legends Tour and chairman of the Staysure Group – the Golf Lottery is a non-profit organisation licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission in Great Britain. Its primary aim is to raise funds for good causes every week and in turn support local and national charities across the UK through player interaction.
Launched with the UK enjoying a boom in golf participation levels that has seen an increase of 148 per cent from 2019-2020 with playing numbers rising to more than 5.2million, the Golf Lottery serves as a focal point for a portfolio of charities and governing bodies to promote their work.
Keith Mitchell, managing director of the Golf Lottery, said: “Our prize of winning this exclusive golfing holiday in the Indian Ocean means this week’s Golf Lottery is a must-play event. The winner will be joined by a guest to sample this once-in-a-lifetime playing experience where they will tee it up with legends of the game.
“What makes the Golf Lottery so special is that it fulfils a need to bring new revenue and support to a number of UK charities, all while giving players the chance to win fantastic prizes along the way. We have launched to great success against a backdrop of a boom in golf participation in the UK.
“For the consumer, the Golf Lottery is an exciting new platform that will assist with meeting their charitable donations where they can support those close to their heart.”
