LOUIS ALBERTS APPOINTED NEW F&B DIRECTOR FOR TURNBERRY

Louis Alberts is thrilled to receive the opportunity to play a hand in directing the new era of Trump Turnberry. He is set revamp their hospitality operations team, after joining the iconic Turnberry golf resort, as their new Director of Food & Beverage.  

 

Alberts began this new position at the start of the year and joins Turnberry at a pivotal time for the resort, following on from the easing of hospitality restrictions in Scotland.  

 

The South African native has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, after having worked in several major roles over the last 15 years. His most recent position at Saga Ocean Cruises, as Food and Beverage Director, maintained a six-star ultra-luxury service standard, boding well for his new starring role at Turnberry.

 

Alberts said: “I’m thrilled to be working with the team at Turnberry. I have such a passion for the hospitality industry and luxury service, and I understand the importance of teamwork.”

 

“I pride myself on my team building and development and my ability to provide the highest possible standards for our guests. I look forward to relishing in this new responsibility.”  

 

As well as cruise ship experience, Alberts has also worked in luxury hotels, exclusive bars and fine-dining restaurants all over the world. Equipped with a certifications in both wines and spirits and restaurant management, his education paired with his experience is set to bring a new wave of strength to Turnberry.

 

Alberts impressive career has taken him from sailing the seas, to the United Arab Emirates, London and now Scotland. Citing his wealth of international experiences, he is passionate about managing multi-cultural teams in the workplace.
