Package gives golfers access to PGA coaching, Trackman simulators and wider facilities to hone skills
Trump Turnberry has launched its Winter Academy Programme offering golfers expert coaching, state-of-the-art practice facilities and world-class golf for £499 per person.
Running from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, the programme combines individual lessons with Turnberry’s PGA Professionals, Trackman simulator and range sessions, four rounds on the acclaimed King Robert the Bruce course and opportunities to fine tune the short game on the Wee Links Pitch & Putt and the Cairngorms putting and chipping green.
Designed to help golfers make regular use of the resort’s Golf Academy through the winter, the programme provides opportunities to work on their game, play with friends and prepare for the new season.
Each participant receives three 45-minute lessons with a Turnberry PGA Professional, allowing golfers to focus on the areas of their game that need most attention and build a practice plan around their own goals.
Four one-hour Trackman iO simulator sessions and 12 one-hour Trackman Range sessions are also included, with participants able to bring up to three guests to each session. The combination of indoor golf and covered range facilities gives golfers greater flexibility to keep playing and practising during the shorter winter days.
On the course, participants receive four rounds on acclaimed King Robert the Bruce, rated a top 50 course in the world by Golf Digest, with up to three accompanying guests able to join each round for £50 per person. The legendary links offers views across the Ayrshire coastline towards the Turnberry Lighthouse, Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran.
The package also includes 12 rounds on the Wee Links Pitch & Putt and use of the Cairngorms putting and chipping green, providing further opportunities to practise the shots that make a difference to scoring.
Alistair Kyle, Golf Academy Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “Winter is a good time to work on the parts of the game that can be difficult to address during a busy playing season. Having lessons, regular practice sessions and rounds on King Robert the Bruce within one package gives golfers a clear way to do that.
“We also want people to enjoy spending time at the Academy. Being able to bring friends along to the range or simulator makes practice more sociable, while the coaching helps give each session a purpose. The aim is for golfers to reach the spring feeling more confident about their game.”
Participants will also receive an invitation to a Winter Academy Social Night, including indoor golf and food, alongside a 20 per cent discount on food and beverages at the Academy Café.
King Robert the Bruce rounds are available Sunday to Friday, with Sunday tee times from 11am. Golf, simulator and range sessions may be booked up to seven days in advance. Guests must be accompanied by the programme holder, and each guest may use the £50 green fee a maximum of three times during the programme.
