Trump Turnberry targets £50,000 for three children’s charities with a day of golf, lunch and entertainment
Trump Turnberry will welcome a line-up of Scottish sporting greats for the Turnberry Titans Celebrity Charity Golf Day and Lunch on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
Former Scotland football manager Steve Clarke will be joined by Sir Kenny Dalglish, record-breaking Scotland rugby captain Greig Laidlaw and fellow international Bryan Redpath, four-time Olympic cycling medallist Jack Carlin and world champion curler Hammy McMillan. Further names will be announced ahead of the event.
Hosted by broadcaster Eilidh Barbour, former European Tour winner and commentator Andrew Murray and renowned speaker and charity auctioneer Alex Fleming, the event aims to raise £50,000 for Whiteleys Retreat, Honeypot Children’s Charity and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with guests invited to choose from three golf experiences across the Ayrshire resort.
Teams playing the Championship Ailsa course will be joined by a sporting celebrity for their round, followed by a three-course lunch in Trump Turnberry’s Grand Ballroom. A fourball with a celebrity guest and lunch is priced at £1,500.
Fourballs are also available on the King Robert the Bruce course, ranked number 48 in Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, priced at £800 including lunch.
The third option will take place on Trump’s Twelve, the resort’s new 12-hole par-three course. Players will have the opportunity to compete for a £10,000 hole-in-one prize across a layout featuring holes ranging from 70 to 206 yards. A fourball on Trump’s Twelve with lunch is priced at £500.
Following play, guests will gather in the Grand Ballroom for lunch and exclusive interviews with former Scotland international footballer Kris Boyd, Carlin, Clarke and other sporting guests before a charity auction.
Nic Oldham, General Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “Turnberry Titans brings together a terrific group of sporting personalities for a day that promises to be enjoyable both on and off the golf course.
“With three different golf experiences available, there is an opportunity for teams to play the course that best suits them while supporting three charities whose work makes a real difference to children and their families.
“We have set an ambitious target of £50,000 and look forward to golfers, businesses and supporters from across Scotland and beyond joining us on October 22.”
Overnight accommodation is available from £330 per room, per night.
