Pin Vision, the European golf technology company behind the Pin Vision GPS app and club management platform, has joined forces with IT experts CourseRev.ai to form a new technical and commercial partnership that will bring its precision course mapping, digital pin positions and pace-of-play intelligence to golf clubs across the United States.

The partnership marks Pin Vision’s official entry into the U.S. market, with its technology being introduced initially through existing CourseRev.ai partner clubs. Already live at more than 100 golf clubs and used by 40,000-plus active golfers across Italy and the UK, Pin Vision’s technology is now set to bring its on-course intelligence to American golf, including at clubs such as Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, host venue of the 2023 Ryder Cup.

At the heart of the partnership is Pin Vision’s high-precision digital course mapping technology, which captures greens, hazards, tee boxes and other key course features to create detailed digital representations of each layout. Integrated into the CourseRev.ai platform, this data will support more accurate course visualisations, smarter AI recommendations and a more informed booking experience for golfers.

Pin Vision’s platform also enables clubs to digitise daily hole locations, giving golfers access to accurate flag positions and distances directly through their phones. By combining detailed course maps with live pin information, golfers can better understand what lies ahead on every hole, from the tee box to the green.

For operators, the technology can help identify developing delays earlier, providing the operations teams with the information needed to respond before slow play affects the wider course. For golfers, it offers a clearer picture of round progress and how their pace compares with the club’s target.

The collaboration will extend beyond course operations through Teemeup.ai, CourseRev.ai’s recently launched invitation-only AI Golf Assistant. With Pin Vision data integrated into the system, the conversational AI caddie will be able to surface real-time pin locations and on-course information directly within its chat interface.

Pin Vision users will also gain access to CourseRev.ai’s live tee-time availability, deals and conversational booking capabilities, connecting the on-course experience with the next stage of the golfer journey discovering and booking a round.

Luigi Goria, founder, president and COO of Pin Vision, said: “Every golfer has stood on a tee wondering where the pin is, how far they need to carry the bunker, and why the group ahead has been on the green for ten minutes. We built Pin Vision to answer those questions with data, not guesswork.

“Partnering with CourseRev.ai means we can bring that experience to hundreds of American clubs at once, through a platform their operators already trust. This is an important moment for Pin Vision as we enter the US market and begin the next chapter of our growth.”

Manna Justin, founder and CEO of CourseRev.ai, added: “At CourseRev.ai, our focus has always been on using technology to make golf easier to access, simpler to manage and more enjoyable to play. Pin Vision brings an entirely new layer of intelligence to that experience, giving both golfers and operators a clearer, real-time picture of what is happening on the course.

“By combining Pin Vision’s mapping, pin position and pace-of play technology with the CourseRev.ai platform, we are creating a more connected journey, from discovering and booking a tee time through to the round itself. We are excited to bring this capability to our club partners and believe the partnership represents a significant step forward in how technology can support the modern golf experience.”
